What Shipping Options and Delivery Times Does Ginwenwear Offer?

Update Time:2026/7/13

Ginwenwear offers several shipping methods for custom jacket orders: sea freight (FOB/CIF), air freight, and express courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS). Total delivery time from the factory in Jiangxi, China, to the buyer's destination depends on the shipping method selected and the destination country. Orders are packed in polybags and export-standard cartons, with carton markings customized per client requirements. Shipping Terms Available

FOB Shanghai or Ningbo port: The buyer arranges shipping from the port of loading. CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight): Ginwenwear arranges shipping and insurance to the destination port. DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): Ginwenwear handles all shipping, customs clearance, and duty payment, delivering directly to the buyer's address. DDP is recommended for first-time buyers who prefer door-to-door service without managing logistics. Inland Transportation from Factory to Port

Ginwenwear's factory is located in Jiangxi Province, approximately 8 hours by truck from Shanghai port and 10 hours from Ningbo port. Inland trucking takes 1-2 days. This is a logistical factor that buyers should consider when planning their total timeline. Factories located closer to coastal ports in Guangdong or Zhejiang may save 2-3 days of inland transit, but this difference is typically minor compared to total sea freight time.

Packaging Standards

Each garment is packed in an individual polybag. Cartons are standard export-grade double-wall corrugated boxes. Standard carton sizes hold approximately 10-20 jackets depending on jacket type and thickness. Buyers can request custom carton dimensions, inner cartons, hanger packing, or retail-ready packaging at an additional cost. Carton marking includes product name, quantity, net weight, gross weight, carton dimensions, and destination port or address.

Order Tracking

Ginwenwear provides a tracking number for all express courier shipments and a bill of lading for sea freight shipments. Buyers receive shipping documents including commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, and certificate of origin upon request. Tracking updates are shared by email at each milestone: departure from factory, arrival at port, vessel departure, vessel arrival, customs clearance notification, and final delivery.

Shipping Cost Factors

Shipping costs depend on order volume, carton dimensions (volumetric weight), destination country, shipping method, and current fuel surcharges. As a general estimate, sea freight costs roughly $0.50-$2.00 per jacket for a 500-piece order to the US West Coast, while express courier for samples costs approximately $50-$120 per shipment depending on weight and destination. Customs and Duties

For CIF and FOB terms, customs clearance and duty payment are the buyer's responsibility. For DDP terms, Ginwenwear handles all customs clearance and duty payment. Buyers should verify applicable duty rates for their product category (jackets typically fall under HS code 6101-6202 depending on material) with their local customs authority. Ginwenwear can provide HS code classification support based on the specific jacket type.

Planning note: For seasonal jacket orders, we recommend building a 2-week buffer beyond the estimated delivery date. Seasonal peak periods (February-April and August-October) may add 1-2 weeks to total shipping time due to port congestion and limited container availability.
