Ginwenwear offers extensive customization options for branding and labeling on custom jacket orders: woven labels, printed labels, heat transfer labels, hang tags, embroidered logos, custom zipper pulls, and branded packaging. The specific customization methods available depend on the jacket type, fabric, and order quantity. All branding is applied during production, not as an aftermarket add-on, ensuring durability and consistent quality. Branding and Labeling Options

Label Placement Options

Standard label placements include: woven brand label at the back neck; care/content label at the inside side seam; size label at the back neck or inside side seam; and flag label at the side seam hem. Custom placements can be specified in the tech pack. Ginwenwear will produce a label placement diagram as part of the sample approval process to confirm all positions before bulk production. Custom Packaging Options

Standard packaging is polybag + export carton. Upgrade options include: branded polybags with logo printing; individual gift boxes for retail-ready products; custom carton printing with brand logo and product information; inner cartons for multi-piece orders; and hanger packing for premium presentation. Custom packaging is typically quoted based on the specific design, material, and quantity.

Embroidered vs Printed Logos

Embroidered logos are recommended for varsity jackets, bomber jackets, and outerwear where a premium appearance is desired. Embroidered logos can include up to 12 thread colors per design and work best on flat panel areas such as the chest, upper back, and sleeves. Printed logos (screen printing, heat transfer, or sublimation) are more suitable for puffer jackets and performance fabrics where embroidery needles could compromise fabric integrity or waterproofing. Maximum embroidery size depends on the placement area and machine capability.

Design File Requirements

For labels and tags, provide vector files in AI, EPS, or PDF format with fonts converted to outlines. Minimum resolution for printed artwork is 300 DPI at actual size. For embroidery, provide a DST or PES embroidery file or a clean vector file for digitization. Ginwenwear's design team can create label and tag artwork from a client's logo and brand guidelines for an additional setup fee.

Lead Time Impact

Custom branding typically adds 5-15 days to the overall production timeline, depending on the complexity of the branding elements and whether custom tooling (embroidery digitization, label weaving setup) is required. Clients should factor this into their order planning, particularly for seasonal collections where timing is critical.
